I activated my account with a referral code sent from my friend. It was not applied to either account. How can we get the 10$ credit?

did you activate just recently ? You should see a $10 credit applied to your account within 72 hours. The person who referred you will get 1 Reward point on his account, every 30 days that your account stays active and in good standing.

Yes, the $10 credit will apply to your next renewal date.
