it could be stuck at the sender side, not necessary your issue

also, it could be an issue when it tried sending you the first time, you couldn't be reach for some reason and PM held and tried sending you again

but if you are using Android, clear app cache and monitor if it helps

I just received a text today that was sent last Thursday, and in conversation with a relative today who is also on PM she commented that she's receving some incoming texts hours or days after they were sent. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know why this might be happening and how it can be fixed?

I had similar issue in the winter whilst in Mexico...sometimes messages were received several hours after they were sent to me. I dunno if that's the case with you...but if so, there wasn't much I could find out about when this happened either.
