you have a $20-3GB or $23-6GB plan? if so, yes, you are affected by this price change

Yes, many people have been getting that legitimate message from Public Mobile re price increase.

Please log into your account now and check to see if there are better plans available that you can switch to instead.

If there are click on Change on Renewal to get the full usage of your current payment.

HI @kcey it is real, there is a $3 or $4 price hike depending on your current plan

but there is a "compensation" offer, you will see on your My Account, Change Subscription page that there is a plan that is the same price of the plan after the price hike but with more data

Most plans from $20-$23 will ve increased by 3-4 dollars. I don't belive that the $19 plan was affected. Did he receive a text?

Best to select Change on Renewal that way you finish this current cycle and only be billed on the new cycle.

There are no guarantees that changing to any plan today will not be increased by Public Mobile tomorrow.

They reserve the right to increase at anytime. They usually give 30 days notice.

mine with $23-6gb plan didnt received any text of price change but my husband who has same plan as me received the text messaged. so thats why i also wonder if my son who has $19-1gb plan will be affected cause he didnt received any text as well

@kcey Ask him if he received a SMS telling him about the increase. As for what plan he should move to, have a look in his account on the app under manage subscription, change subscription. You should see lots of choices. Only he/you can decide what plan to go to.
