It does sound more like an iOS configuration issue than your physical SIM being “deleted,” especially after juggling a few travel eSIMs. I’d still follow the advice above: remove any leftover eSIMs, power off, eject/reinsert the physical SIM, then do a full network settings reset and reboot. Somewhere in the middle of all that, it helps to think like those carrier guides that keep an error solution page for SIM‑related glitches—step‑by‑step, change one thing at a time, then test again.

I used a few eSIMs while travelling recently and when I returned to Canada, my physical SIM isn't working. I believe I may have accidentally “deleted” my primary, as I have no SIMs associated to a Primary on my iPhone. It says “No SIM”, but I believe the issue is with whatever I did by chance when trying to set multiple eSIMs.

Is there anything I can do to get my physical SIM to work properly?

Thanks! Unfortunately I’m not seeing any option to turn on this line. I deleted my eSIMs, and when I go to Setting > Cellular, I just have a “Business” line with no number and when I try to set that as primary nothing happens.

Thanks so much! I’ll try that when I get home and have access to something to open my little slot for the SIM.
