You will have to rebuy a new PM eSIM using PM app so you can receive the port out text . The esim would be free if the last eSIM you got was over 15 days ago

When I tried to switch from PM to another service provider, I was unable to complete the transfer, as it showed that my number was invalid. Because I wasn't receiving text messages or calls, I could only make outgoing calls.

"could only make outgoing calls." , you mean with your PM service? If that is the case, you earlier transfer to PM was not even completed. The transfer text with this new provider would have sent to your provider before PM

Or ask PM to check and help. Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here:

    https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

CS_Agent will reply to your community inbox between 9AM-10PM EST (Mon-Sun), check here:

     https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Contact your new carrier to check.

Did you reply to the text from PM confirming you are porting out with the PM SIM in your phone?

There is a 90 minute window for you to reply or porting is not completed.

If you didn’t reply or it passed 90 minutes. Have you new carrier contact PM to resend the text.

Your new carrier should have taken care of this for you.

Due to a mistake, I deleted my old eSIM before the process was complete, so I was unable to receive text messages.

By experience, with every carrier I’ve used, the issue always came from Public Mobile whether it was port-in or port-out. With other carriers, transfers usually work easily and without issues. With Public Mobile, however, it has never worked smoothly for me. I always end up having to file a CCTS complaint and have a higher-level Telus technician handle it, because CCTS can impose significant fines on them, so it move faster (2-3 days).
