topic Very Slow Data in Get Support

I am located in southern Manitoba, and here the towers are shared with Rogers, Bell, and TELUS due to the MTS-Rogers agreement before Bell purchased MTS.

I was with Rogers previously, and since switching to Public, I thought service was great. I started noticing this last summer that my data was unusable at lunch, even if I was right next to the tower. Now it seems to be slow basically all the time. I now have two iPhone 13's, one with Rogers and one with Public. Side by side, public gets 2Mbps download, and Rogers gets 80Mbps. I do understand that although they share towers, the networks are still different.

Is this an intentional slowdown from Public due to congestion or something? If this was the case it would be nice to know that it's deprioritized over the bigger carriers. Is there something that can be done, or is there a way to know if there are known issues that need to be improved in our area, etc?

Does your phone need updates? Maybe try to uninstall and reinstall the browser or try another one.
