    <description>&lt;P&gt;That's correct, you are only able to communicate via RCS using any internet connection.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no cellular service on PM in Japan.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey, Reviving this thread.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm currently in Tokyo with a Public Mobile and Saily ESIM.&lt;BR /&gt;I &lt;STRONG&gt;CAN&lt;/STRONG&gt; text people back in Canada &lt;STRONG&gt;AND&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;my other family members here also with the same 2 ESIMS (they are also on Public Mobile and have Saily ESIMs, to be painfully clear).&lt;BR /&gt;However I tried logging into my Public Mobile account to take advantage of a new promotion, it required Public Mobile to send me a text. That text was &lt;STRONG&gt;NOT &lt;/STRONG&gt;received.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why this is working, I cannot explain. We are all on Google Pixel devices (9a and 8 Pros).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/665948"&gt;@toguy1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PM has no roaming services in Japan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you thought you receive text because you were using iMessage or RCS, not really SMS.&amp;nbsp; You won't get regular SMS or 2FA text when you are in Japan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what you can do is to click Didn't Receive code or Resend code and choose Send email option to receive the 2FA text via email&lt;/P&gt;</description>
