When i go outside my house and play online games with my data and keep in mine that i have 30-40+ gigabytes left and i play games like brawl stars or among us it either loads but is very laggy or takes forever to load or i get disconnected and it says i can’t connect to the server but when i play other games like pokemon go it works fine. i am just wondering what the problem is or if there is a solution. when i play these games i am in an area where 5G network is provided as well as LTE

Most of my game connection issues, downloading updates not working, slow videos, Steam Link IPv4 connections to Personal PC were all fixed by forcing an IPv4 connection.

Public Mobile seems to only be assigning IPv6. Their MTU (Maximum Transmissable Unit) is set too high so packets get randomly discarded by routers before they reach you. So only IPv4 connections are reliable on Public. Also you can reach IPv4-only servers with this method.

Read the steps to force an IPv4 connection on an APN here:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/Can-t-play-any-games-and-can-t-connect-to-VPN-with-Public-Mobile/m-p/1416006/highlight/true#M967043
