    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Porting out of Public Mobile while you are outside of Canada is tricky because Public Mobile requires you to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;reply "YES" to a confirmation SMS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt; sent to your Canadian SIM card within 90 minutes.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Since Public Mobile generally &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;does not offer roaming outside of Canada and the US&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;, your phone likely won't receive this text if you are overseas.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;You can attempt to contact a Public Mobile Customer Support Agent (CSA) via the Community Forum to see if they will manually authorize the port.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Explain that you are abroad and cannot receive the SMS verification.       <title>Port to Fizz</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Has anyone had any luck requesting PM to manually accept the authorization text to port a number over to another provider? I’m already out of country but started the transfer to Fizz, however I can’t receive any texts from PM and can’t authorize this. Do I have any other options?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Unfortunately you need to be in Canada to get the confirmation text from PM.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Buy a sim card and change to it and your friend need to reply the text on behalf&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
