Just signed on with public mobile this week, and already have a friend that wants to switch over from freedom. I Went to walmart when switching my two lines from koodo. Can He also go to walmrt to switch and still use the referall or can referals only be done online?

@Rpullar I am pretty sure you can tell Walmart rep to enter referral. It is done by using a phone number that is activated/transfered on Public Mobile.

Referrals can be done at walmart.

The form is almost identical when at the walmart kiosk when activating.

@Rpullar Yes he can go to Walmart to activate a new sim with PM & port his number over on Self-Serve, he can use referrals at Walmart. He has to let saleman at Walmart knows he has a referral number from friend.

@Rpullar, it is imperative that the referral be applied at time of activation regardless of where the activation is done. The referral cannot be added after activation is complete.
