No you won't be able to receive 2fa through sms. You can connect to wi-fi only for internet but 2fa is through sms which you won't receive.

I plan to go during summer in few EU member states. My current plan has data but no roaming. I understand that roaming is available only for US and Mexico. Can I use my data in EU if I am connected there to wifi? I need to receive the "2 step verification" notifications from the banks and internet data is the only solution, as the banks use only the phone for that purpose. Thank you.
