My phone has a physical sim card with no port to remove it from my iPhone 14. Is this an eSim? If so, how do I enter a new eSim during activation before I transfer my phone number? I activated a physical sim before I transferred my phone number. How do I go back to get an eSim with Public Mobile? I am stuck on the transfer number screen. Can I activate a new eSim and remove the physical sim number that I purchased with public mobile and that I tried to use to set up my account? I do not have a physical sim port on my phone.

Your phone does have a physical SIM. You should see a small hole on the left hand side, you can stick the SIM tool that came with your phone in there if you still have it or a paperclip. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/109357

For porting, you do not require physical sim information. If you are looking to change from physical sim to esim within Public mobile service, there is an option to do this in the app. There will be charge for esim but in most cases, CS agent will credit you back with reasonable excuses like changing phone or physical sim issue like things.

Thank you so much for taking the time to try and assist but luckily the problem is solved and I’m all set up on Public Mobile now. Someone more familiar with Public Mobile was able to see the error of my ways of trying to get it set up. I had said in my message that I did not have a SIM card port on my iPhone 14 but in fact I did as my phone is a Canadian phone and they have removable SIM cards. My problem is solved.
