Ok in fact thanks to all who offered some help. PM help got back to me and walked me through to success. The basic fix was a reset from their end, carrier services force stop on phone with cache clear, restart and network reset on phone. It's pretty convoluted but got the job done! Thanks again.

Hi there, successfully ported from Rogers, that is, if you call the Rogers number on my PM service, it goes through, as do texts. However, if I text out, it is still using old PM temp number. Same with calls out. I notice on the Pixel in network, that the esim is still listing the temp number and can't be edited. yes tried restarting a couple times. Took out Rogers sim after porting. Restarted. Ported over about 10 hours ago. I haven't done a network reset as seems kind of scary. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Mango

you need Reboot phone and Reset network settings for it to work

but if it still sending from old phone number, manually update the phone number on the Settings menu if you have an iPhone. You need to remove the phone number first and put the new number there after a reboot

if you have Android phone, backup your message first, then go to app setting and clear data and try
