    <description>&lt;P&gt;I do not use iMessage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iMessage was turned off on the other person’s iPhone to test normal SMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Incoming calls to my Public Mobile number do work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I already rebooted my phone and reset network settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Outgoing SMS works. Incoming SMS does not.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m a new Public Mobile subscriber on an eSIM and I’m having a persistent issue with inbound SMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What works:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Calls (inbound + outbound)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Data&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Outbound SMS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RCS connects successfully&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;WhatsApp and other data-based messaging apps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What does NOT work:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Inbound SMS from anyone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iPhone (with iMessage turned OFF, green bubble SMS)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Android (RCS OFF, plain SMS)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Details:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Issue started immediately after eSIM activation&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SMSC is present on the device&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Default SIM is set correctly&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Network settings reset, reboots done&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Removing/re-adding eSIM did not help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Missed texts sent during this time do not arrive later&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Based on testing, this looks like a carrier-side inbound SMS routing / provisioning issue (HLR/SMSC), not a device or app problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Questions for the community:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone else had inbound-only SMS failures after a new eSIM activation?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If so, did support need to do an HLR refresh or SMS reprovisioning to fix it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any known current issues related to eSIM or number provisioning?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Posting to see if this is affecting others or if anyone has a confirmed resolution path.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;why your iMessage is turned off?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please Reboot phone and Reset network settings, then test again&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and please confirm if you really getting incoming calls.&amp;nbsp; Many unaware that they don't and all the issues were caused because porting request was not done&lt;/P&gt;</description>
