Why don't SMSs go through to radio stations?

As long as the phone number is valid, the sms should work.

Does other sms to friends and family work? How do you know that it doesn't work? Is this to 1 station or many different stations?

SMS messages to shortcodes are often used for promotions/giveaways.

It says "failed" when I send in - to any radio station. No prob sending msgs to contacts

I use them all the time no problems. I won a McDonald's gift card the other day.

I have Android phone so I asked Google 'why are my sms to radio stations failing'?

It have me a brilliant answer. Check it out on your phone.

I checked my settings and it says Always ask. I usually do that for most of my apps.
