Cannot find $20/m 24 deal.. I want to change as does my wife who just started PM last month.. We are both on $30/m 30Gb Can/Usa

sorry, if you don't see the plan on your My Account -> Change Subscription , you cannot change to it.

some have to gone through the trouble of porting out and porting back into PM to get the deal as new subscriber

There really is only one way to get this offer. Port out to another service, the cheapest prepaid service you can find and then port back to Public Mobile a few hours later.

Just know, nothing is stopping you from getting the plan now. Just need a second email account and start another account. Then when you're ready, port back the number from the other provider you temporarily you went to.
