transfer number out in Country without roaming

is there a way to transfer my number to another provider without using text message? I found public doesn't have roaming in China only after landing here, which means I cannot receive any SMS, so I want to transfer my number to another provider (e.g Fizz with esim) which has roaming in China,

Because transferring number in Canada requires an authorization text to be sent from the original provider (public) and "YES" replied by me, without roaming, I can't do either of this.

Is there a good solution to this?

I don't want to get a new "temp" number because all my Canadian accounts are already bind with this number.

NOPE — SMS verification is required to port to another carrier for security reasons — otherwise anyone could transfer a number without the user’s permission such as a deranged spouse or jealous partner
