Tax on 911 Tax

Hi Everyone,

I am a subscriber from Alberta.

I just noticed that the billing system is adding 911 Tax before calculating GST.
Is it possible to Tax on a Tax? It’s a very small amount of $0.05 but if it is being charged from everyone, it will become a big number.

the E911 fees in Alberta is $0.95 and I do not think PM added 5% on top of the $0.95. But to be certain, please engage PM support for further investigation.

Hi,

This is actually being calculated as intended. Since the 911 "tax" is a levy from the province is is subject to GST.
