@bobca420You might have weaker antenna depending on what phone you have. How is the 5G connection if your phone supports it? It's possible some bands are not supported on your phone leading to weaker signal. Try your sim in a different phone if you can borrow from a family member or friend and see how the signal is.

I noticed the cell reception at my new house is somewhat poor. I usually will get 1-2 LTE bars outside and 1 LTE bar inside on the main floor. My reception will drop to 1-2 3G bars down in the basement and no bars in a utility closet down there. According to a cell tower map (ertyu.org) the nearest cell tower is about 3km away. I just wanted to know if there was a way to improve the reception inside without spending too much money. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What phone do you habe? Did you try your sim on another phone?

You can buy a signal booster from Amazon, or you can move to Koodo which has Wifi calling
