      <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't need a pin for porting out. The other provider sends a request to public mobile and public mobile sends you a text message asking your permission. You say yes, the number goes to the other provider. Please make sure your account is active and not closed or the port won't work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The porting rules specify that only one of account number, account PIN, or IMEI is needed.&amp;nbsp; Using more than 1 actually increases the chance of porting failure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You only need to fill in one of those fields as per numberr portability guidelines.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These are actually questions to be asking your new carrier (I'm assuming you're leaving Public Mobile since you mentioned porting out).&amp;nbsp; The new carrier is resposible for providing all support and troubleshooting related to number porting.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
