You should see SOS within 2 hours (ie, you cannot use PM service), that signals the port is done

you can then put the Koodo sim card in a phone and test the Koodo service , test both inbound and outbound calls

I had the temporary koodo line before porting to koodo as I’m doing it online not through an agent. In my mind I should do the following:

1- port from PM to koodo while keeping my PM esim in my iPhone once it says SOS then the porting is done

2- request an esim from koodo (which I’m not sure how they will provide it will they give me a qrcode or just install it on my device like PM does?)

I just finished the porting and it was super easy and straightforward.

here are the steps:

1- port to koodo and wait to get the message then replay yes to it

2- from koodo website go to mobile services and click on restore deleted esim then it’ll request the EID of the iPhone you need the esim to be activated on

3- couple seconds you get a notification and after accepting you are done!

all took less than 5 minutes!
