If you have a physical SIM card just put it in the new phone and its fine.

That's what happened to me 3 weeks ago. Screen smashed.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I only have a sim card from the phone I want to use now. I thought I had one in the phone that stopped working, but there isn't one in there. I already tried switching my phone number to the new phone but that doesn't seem to be working.

If you don't have a card then you need to get esim or buy new physical card.

Does this other phone accept esim? You would need to download the Public Mobile app to the new phone and buy esim to continue.

If you want a card, then you can buy one from a Telus/Koodo store.

Pr order one from Amazon for $4.99. It's quicker than buying it from Public Mobile website.

For me it was easy because I only use physical card so I just moved it to the replacement.

I don't know if this old phone accepts esim or not. Not sure if I want to attempt it and possibly waste my money. It's a LG Nexus that I had in a box in the basement. It's around fifteen years old.

hi @Lloydster

it does not have eSIM. Buy a new sim card and ask PM support agent to update the sim card number for you

but honest, your phone is way too old, consider buying a new phone
