Appreciate any clarity & guidance re my intent to port my existing number currently with Rogers...wanting to take advantage of Public's Black Friday Promo; ie $35/mo 10GB Plan Canada-US-Mexico with FREE E-Sim & want to ensure there is limited downtime for the conversion...I am seeing previous posts suggesting that Public will help facilitate & others suggesting that I need some direct contact with Rogers to authorize ? Thanks in advance Robert

Once you reply wait a few minutes and remove or disable the other sim.

Shortly after that if you are able to receive incoming calls on your Public Mobile account your good.

Many Thanks Sansan! Appreciate the quick response & info...I neglected to ask if there might be any issue converting from a "physical' sim currently in my phone to Public's "E-Sim"?

It may not be eSIM compatible. A few members have made the mistake of getting the eSIM just because it is free and learn to find out their phone is not compatible.
Then they have a long process of getting a hold of a CS_Agent to help them switching to a SIM.
