A few people have suggested a service called Number Barn. I don't know how it works, but you can Google to see if that would be an option for you.

Hello,

If I wanted to keep my current number active beyond 3 months, what are some cost effective ways to do the same via PM or other services? I don't want to pay a monthly premium subscription fee when I wouldn't be using my phone plan service (i.e., call, text, data) at all. But would be okay with a nominal fee (<$10) just so that the number is active.

I'm aware that I can unsubscribe from my current PM plan for a maximum of 90 days. I wouldn't want my current plan back whenever I decide to return.

Would appreciate any help! Thank you
