You can use the same payment card.

I suggest hubby to download the Public Mobile app to his cellphone to create his own account and activate a new plan (he can buy an esim during the process if preferred). He should take a new number until his new account is up and running as expected. Then he can initiate a transfer of his old number to new Public Mobile account. (Tell him not to cancel his old plan...that will happen automatically once he transfers his number successfully)

Why can’t I ever chat with an agent? My support help always just says oops this service is not available no matter what time of day I try. I subscribed to public mobile a few weeks ago and wanted to subscribe my husbands phone as well but it said there was and error so I tried again and now Im stuck where it’s asking which number I want to transfer and it just keeps telling me to enter a valid canadian number and it is a his number and it’s a Canadian number. Please help. It’s so dumb that you can’t chat with an agent.
