hi @Revulous if you have a 5G plan, even on 4G LTE network, you can get good spreed upto 250Mbps. Your phone, and many others, will drop back to 4G network to save power. And as said, speed can still go to 250Mbps on 4G, so you didn't loss anything from using 4G

@Revulous what plan you have ? Even with phone set to LTE on 5G plan you should see faster speed of 100mbs of a 4G plan

@Revulous 1Mbps doesn't seem right for LTE. There have been occasions where my speed has dropped to almost nothing but it's only been in certain dead spots and elsewhere the speed has been easily up to the advertised maximum. It hasn't varied that much in a single place. If you want to take this up with customer service send a private message using this link and watch the envelope icon top right or tap your avatar for Messages to check for their reply

LTE+ means your phone is using carrier aggregation (CA). It's not related to your plan. Lucky should have the same behaviour unless you're in Manitoba.

@hTideGnowCA is a feature that is available on 4G LTE and 5G. It allows the phone to use multiple frequency bands at the same time for increased bandwidth and throughput. See here for more info:

yes, I understand CA is combining multiple channels together, but when I see LTE+ on my phone, it does not mean I am using 5G, right? I am just using multiple channels on 4G?

Also, Telus has 5G+ service for a top speed of 1000Mbps, does that mean they use CA?
