Is ZTE 723CA Volte Compatable ?

I noticed this afternoon the Signal Strength bars remained green when on a call. Previously they

turned orange during the call indicating 3G calling. Does this mean it is using Volte calling now?

Anyone else notice this? The IMEI checker on the Volte help page says it is not compatable.

If it is not VoLTE compatible then you will need to look for a new phone.

My spouse’s Samsung S8+ was not compatible and all calls were choppy or disconnected.

hi @drs62 the device is VoLTE but not on PM's whitelist. At this point, there is nothing much you can do, and we don't know if PM will add this to the whitelist or not

and yes, it would be a problem when 3G network is decomissioned

but you can wait till it the end of 3G, maybe PM will add this back to the whitelist or maybe you can change to Koodo or Telus. Telus has an annual plan and perfect for voice only

Yes, mine stays green for outbound and inbound calls. No more orange.
I was just made aware of the orange a month or so ago.
I have taken the new 4g plan but my renewal date has not yet occurred. 😀

My ZTE label is toooo small to read. It’s the one with 2 flat antennas.
Will be selling it soon as I’m going to eliminate the pseudo landline.
