will move to GTA Ontario from Saskatchewan. I want to keep the same phone number, how do change the plan?

you don't have to do anything. You can still use the phone number and plan.

if you want to keep the number after you move, there is nothing you need to do. PM is a prepaid carrier and they do not really care where you are after the account is activated. Only that since you have a Ontario phone number, you will always get to choose Ontario plan (although plans in SK and ON are pretty much the same all the time)

You don't have to do anything most likely. Only thing to keep in mind is that the tax is based on the phone number's location so you will be charged the Ontario tax rate.

with that, it is better to keep Ontario phone number. Although ON has 13% tax and SK only has 11%, but SK has a $2.17 E-911 fees while Ontairo has no E911 fees. So, a $15 plan will becomes $19.06 in SK and only $16.95 with a ON phone number

If at sometime you want to port out, you might want to update your information in your account profile. But as mentioned sales taxes are based on what province the phone number belongs to.

Understand. If I update my profile, the phone number is automatically changed to the province of new address? And I have to subscribe new plan again?

hi @Wayne70118

that is NOT TRUE!!

updating the profile has nothing to do with the phone number. You can still update the profile to the correct address and you don't need to update phone number. PM will not force you to change phone number after you move to another province. In fact, people can get phone number from any province they like
