      <title>Tablet will not recognise SIM card</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Purchased an off shore tablet with 2 SIM card slots. Niether slot will recognise the card. Has anyone had this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

North America however has it's own preferred set of LTE bands (see link in &lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3757"&gt;@Luddite&lt;/a&gt;'s reply above) - a device can be LTE compatible for the European and Asian frequencies but lack the ones that you'll actually need to operate it here.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have ordered "Asian" phones before and for a while looked into network compatible tablets (as opposed to WiFi only). For me the supposed bargains have turned out to be a waste of my time and money (not so much frequency wise but specs, OS, life span etc )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unless I find the actual frequencies in the specs, have a model number that shows up on&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://willmyphonework.net/" target="_self"&gt;https://willmyphonework.net/&lt;/A&gt; or, in a pinch, I'm looking at device that clearly states "American version"... I'm not even thinking about ordering.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
