topic Public Points in Get Support

Hello,

I was wondering how the Point earning actually works in terms of ranking in the community, I have looked at the article on the PM website but it seems to be vague on the exact rankings and point earnings. What percentage of the community do you need to be in to earn each amount of points?

Points do not get involved in any kind of 'ranking' at PM.

If you participate in Community 24/7 you might be #1 and get 15 points every 30 days. 2-3 below will get 10 points. Etc.
You will get 5 points at anniversary and 2% of a cost of your plan (paid by real Money not after trading points for $) every 30 days.
Each referral you bring will get you 1 point. Some customers who brought their whole street as customers enjoy free PM service. Lucky them...

Here is an example how many people get high number of points:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Top-Contributors-July-2025/td-p/1358189

Just helping other creates a nice warm feeling so you should Not aim for top 1-5 places as that will require real dedication and knowledge to help others.

They don't provide exact specifics on how to achieve rankings in the forums. Otherwise it would be gamed even worse. Generally, just be a good forum member, answer people's questions, don't duplicate, provide clear information.
