If you still have service with PM to keep your current number you can port your number to another provider.

If you do NOT use PM service but want to keep number, let account gets suspended (not paying bill) for 85 days and then pay for next month and then again let it get suspended for 85 days, repeat.

Just keep up with your monthly payments.

If you are a new member wanting to port your number over to PM. Your old account must be active and you will need a new SIM/eSIM then download the PM app on your phone and subscribe to the plan you like…then complete the 6 steps.

If you are a new Public mobile customer the you need to transfer your old phone number from your old provider. To do this you will need to subscribe to a plan through the public mobile app or website, and on the choose number stage you will select to transfer, where you will enter your old nubbier and complete the transfer process.

If you have already selected a new number, and you want to go back to an old one you can do this by going on your account>>Plans and add-ons>>Change number

Then when the account is up and running as expected, then initiate a transfer of old number to new PM account. Just make sure to maintain old account until transferred to Public Mobile is successful.
