I am public mobile customer, I am going to Calgary for 7 days, I would like to know how to buy a physical sim card data + talk , so when I get to Calgary I can swap my sim card.

if you are already a PM customer, your service would work in Calgary without a change of sim card or the need to buy another plan. Your plan should have Canada-wide calling for calling Canada from within Canada for free. And Mobile Data is National wide as well

and just in case you need to get a new Public Mobile sim card, you can get it from

Data is Canada wide as well

so, you don't need a new plan just for going to Calgary

yes, the 3 ways to buy sim card are just the physical sim card only, you need to subscribe plan if you need new service

however, as said above, if you have a plan with PM already, the plan should be Canada wide for voice, text and data. You do not need an new account (unless you are trying to set up a new plan for family member)

unless it say "Provincial" calling, then it is not Canada-wide. If you don't see the word Provincial, then your service is national wide and no need to worry about new sim card or new plan or add-on

on the side node, AB has cheaper tax, some people will go and buy Public Mobile voucher and load the voucher in the account to save some tax.
