Outgoing Texts I never made (Texts 3 / 50 Unit) Why?

Just registered with PM but even though I haven't yet texted my profile shows that I made 3 texts. Why?

50 International Outgoing Texts and Unlimited Incoming Texts

Are you using an iPhone? This seems to be common among iPhone users as it sends text messages to Apple to authenticate when you first get on the network.

Yes with Apple texts are used to authenticate. In my case three texts were used up but that’s not a big deal as long as this does not happen too often.
