Recently one of our phones has been constantly saying that there is no network available. The other phone in the house, also on Public Mobile, is working fine.

We've tried restarting the phone, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. We've tried taking the sim card out and back in, again, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

Not sure what else to try, any suggestions?

Have you tried inserting the SIM card from your other phone to the A5 to see if the network still drops?

You can also try forcing the phone to use 3G rather than LTE/auto. In some locales, where I live for example, 3G signal is more stable.
