    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I reset the network settings, but still can’t sent texts. By the way I CHANGED out the battery because my old battery stopped holding a charge. I think switching out the battery caused some sort of issue because I haven’t been able to send texts since.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Try going into your network settings and reset them. This will force your phone to reconnect to the Public Mobile network. Also, can you make calls?
