PM will not work in Great Britain but you can get a local eSIM in GB for your phone to work.

You can also use WhatsApp or TextNow or Fongo app.

As mentioned, your PM service/phone number will not work in Great Britain. PM only offers international roaming to USA and Mexico.

You could purchase travel eSIM while traveling abroad. I use mobimatter.com for cheap eSIM travel options. Only hassle is unable to receive 2FA texts or calls to my Canadian PM number while abroad.
