Inserted sim card into new phone. Topped up phone for my monthly payment. Why was only half of payment taken and why can't I port over my phone number

Are you trying to port into Public Mobile or are you trying to port to another carrier? If you're trying to port to another carrier, the phone number cannot be ported out until your Public Mobile plan has been properly renewed.

There isn't any option to port from Public Mobile to Public Mobile. A phone number can't be moved from one Public Mobile account to another.
