Call 1855-4PUBLIC and enter your number. if the system able to find your account and provides the account status, then the number has not been ported out. But if the system said cannot find the number, then your number was already ported to the new provider.

@Ellie9009

You need to contact your new carrier to see if your number has been ported over to them. If you cancelled the porting then porting was not completed.

You need to reply to the text from the last carrier with YES confirming you are porting over to the new carrier.

If porting was not completed with either carriers then your number has been returned to the carrier you originally got the number from. So you need to contact them.

If the original carrier was Telus/Koodo/PM. There is a slim chance you might get it back. So dm a CS_Agent.

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

If your number was from any other carrier then it is gone.
