Thank you so much. The issue is partially resolved; the SIM is recognized, I receive SMS, and 4G data works fine; however, I am unable to make or receive incoming/outgoing calls. Your quick help is highly appreciated.

You need to purchase another eSIM if you want to transfer eSIM between phones. But with a SIM, you just pop it out and put It into the new phone.

It definitely sounds like the core problem now is voice support on newer network settings rather than the SIM itself, especially if SMS and 4G data are fine. Checking the VoLTE whitelist and your exact model is key here, since older iPhones like the 6s Plus can run into hard limits once 3G gets refarmed. On a related note, I was reading a breakdown of how globe telecome in the Philippines handled their own network upgrades: they added around 495 new cell towers by early 2026 and now get about 88% of their telecom revenue from data services. That same write‑up showed how over 63 million mobile subscribers and more than 2 million fiber users had to adapt to similar VoLTE and spectrum changes, which is why phones not on the official VoLTE list eventually struggle with calls even though data still works smoothly.
