I am in the US on travel and my plan does not include the US. How do I check my voice messages?

if your plan does not include US roaming or you did not buy US roaming addon, you cannot use your phone to check voicemail

however, you can still check it. Just download VoIP app like TextNow and it will give you another 10 digits phone number. You can then use the app to call yourself, click # when you hear the voicemail greetings and enter PIN and check voicemail this way

From a land line or another cell phone that works in the USA.

How To Access Your Voicemail From Another Phone

Call your phone number
When you hear your voicemail greeting, press the star key (*) to interrupt it
Enter your voicemail password when prompted
Follow the voice prompts to listen to your messages

The above isn't correct information. Telus voicemail system don't use # for that. # won't work.
