I keep getting voicemail notifications when I check my voicemail I have no messages, android phone. Is there anyway to stop this?

@Trentmac do you have iPhone? If so, the notifications are from the Live Message feature of iPhone. Disable Live Message and you won't have that

try clear app cache for the Phone cache

Cleared the cache and still getting reminders every 2 hours of a new voicemail which there is none. On my Samsung s22

Settings > Apps > Show System Apps > Phone Services > Clear Data

(please note the Phone Services and different from the Phone App, so try Phone services as well)

and did you just change from another provider? that could be an issue if you are moving from a carrier that has Visual Voicemail feature and PM does not

Ok I cleared both cache.

I did come in from Bell but had my voicemail shutoff and never had this happen before PM.

Call your number from another phone and leave a message. Use your cell phone to listen to the message that you left yourself and delete it. That will resend the request to clear the icon. Some phones have a clear voicemail icon choice in the menus.
