Is there a VoLTE enable button or slide in Settings ?

Try this...turn OFF wifi and make a local call. Does the call stay on LTE/4G or does it drop to 3G. If it drops to 3G...you don't have a VoLTE enabled cellphone.

added...here's the latest list of VoLTE phones on the PM network..

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/volte

Hi, use Public Mobile IMEI compatability checker. It shows my Oneplus 8T is compatible and will work with the Volte network, Telus compatibility checker says my Oneplus 8T is not compatible and will not work on the Volte network. What gives, I though Public Mobile is Telus.

No Volte button in settings. Even my latest phone Samsung S25 Ultra does not have Volte setting. Making phone calls does not show LTE/4G icon and the call display does not show HD or HD+ icon to identify what type of phone call is being used. By the way, do you need to enable data in order to show the network icon? I know when I'm making phone calls on my Samsung with data enable, the 5G icon stays on when I'm making phone calls. If I make phone calls without data enabled, no icon is shown.
