Did Public Mobile ever fix the outage period when returning from roaming?

I had to leave public mobile years ago because every time I would come back from USA, my texts just stopped working altogether. I wouldn't receive any texts sent to my number for about a full day, sometimes longer.

I never did get a solid answer as to why, outside of some people guessing that it had to update or re-register back on the domestic network.

Any frequent travelers here who can let me know if they ever have issues like this these days?

I just re-read my thread on the topic from 2019 (6 years ago already?!), and it might have been known as the Day-10 bug?

Even if that's not the name, I recall now that it was a bug that sat unaddressed for years where texting stopped working for 48 hours after returning from roaming.

I travel for work, and wonder if the CAN-US-MEX plan might be worth it for me now... but that bug made me lose my mind with frustration.

I hope it's resolved, can anyone confirm?

This issue was corrected a couple of years ago.
