      <title>Not getting verification code from Bank of America</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I moved from the US to Canada and I am having trouble logging into my US bank since I am not getting any verification codes on my Public mobile. I called Bank of America support and they helped me troubleshoot and figure that Public mobile might have blocked messages from the numbers: 692362 and 73981. Can someone help me get those numbers unblocked? Thanks!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Are you able to click on a link from Bank of America that says something like "didn't get code"? Often times companies will provide alternative options like email or voicemail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the Reddit post:&lt;BR /&gt;"&lt;SPAN&gt;SMS codes are not available for international phone numbers. Click the "having trouble receiving code" link. It should give you the option to send the code to your email."&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Regular international text are ok but not shortcodes.&amp;nbsp; It might work on some providers sometime and experience show it will broke sometime&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;only Canadian shortcode text found here are guaranteed&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.txt.ca/en/current-short-code-programs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer"&gt;https://www.txt.ca/en/current-short-code-programs/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So, it is better to check with your overseas bank and see if you can receive the 2FA using other ways, such as email or authenticator app&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, if your just ported in your number, regular Canadian shortcode text might delay 3 to 7days.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Some banks&amp;nbsp; put the delay on purpose in case of sim fraud&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try to use free voip apps; they might be able to accept international 2FA.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With PM it might be hit and miss as only Canadian senders are guaranteed to work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks everyone for their responses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I was on Rogers(and also Fido prior to that), prior to Public mobile, I was able to get 2FA codes. It's only with Public mobile that I'm not getting any messages.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get codes via email for logging in, but not for any transactions that I need to do. They don't have a voicemail option for receiving codes for transactions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also reached out to Public support and they confirmed they can't help here : "&lt;SPAN&gt;Unfortunately with our network, we do not support the short codes messages from the Bank of America.&lt;/SPAN&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm going to try voip or maybe even porting my number back to Rogers(sigh!). It sucks because I'm really loving the quality of network I get for the price I pay.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
