What is the 3X - point mean and how do you redeem those points every month? Does it do it automatically or do you have to redeem them manually?

Get back points are earned on your purchases like add ons and your plan amount. The regular earning rate is 5% back. New customers earn an additional 10% back for 12 months=15% back or 1.5 points per $10 spent. 1pt=$1. Points can be redeemed for discounted add ons, $15 bill credits or lucky draws for jackpot prizes. 2pts/entry for an iPhone 13 or 1pt/entry to win one of 2 Samsung S22's along with other lucky draws for gift cards or a TV.

The customer must log into their rewards account to redeem their points. You can also earn community points, referral points and 10 points/year for anniversary points.

The $30 plan earns 4.5 points=$4.50/30 days for the first 12 months and 1.5points afterwards.

@billyjean007 3x points is for new activation only and does not apply for existing customers with old rewards system converting over. You are an existing customer so you cannot take advantage of 3x points

Just im case you want to know, $30 plan will give 1.5 points and 3x point will give 4.5 points, a $4.5 value. But again, you are not eligible

@billyjean007 you are existing customer 9n old rewards, PLEASE DO NOT convert to Public points. Yiu are not eligible for 3x points and you will earn much more on old rewards system

Hopefully you haven't joined Public Points. You can change plans and stay in the old rewards program. The messaging in self serve is a little confusing and makes it sound like you will switch to the points program but only can do that in your rewards account. Don't it's not as rewarding as the old rewards program.

@Tsawwassen no upgraded needed. The same sim card can be used on the new 4G or 5G still at the moment.

PM was just nice trying to offer free sim card and hope that can drive new activation.

Even switching rewards system from old to new won't be eligible for 3x points
