I am in PEI and currently visiting Toronto. I purchased a public mobile sim today ( in Toronto) and I am trying to port my PEI number to public from lucky mobile and I keep getting this error when asked to enter my postal code

“The postal code you have provided does not match the province you selected”

what is causing this error? Could my IP be the problem?

i think the system delectated that you are in Toronto and thought you are activating an Ontario plan.

if you are not activating esim, try this

go to the browser, https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/plans remember to choose EN (PE) on the top to change to PEI , choose a plan and start the activation process

you will get to the payment step. After payment, you will need to use the PM app to complete the activation and it should work that way
