As a precaution, you should reach out to your landline provider and advise them you are porting out that number to Public Mobile. So when they get the request, they can move forward with it.

Landline port

Hi All,

I am porting my number from a landline. Public Mobile keeps sending the verification of identity to my landline, which does not do texts or e-mails. I cannot input the 'verification code' as my landline cannot send me a code to verify. Any advice? Help!

Did you just request landline port today? Porting from landline usually takes 3 to 7 days. To confirm if the port is completed, test if incoming calls get your mobile phone with PM sim card

Yes, incoming calls work, it was more the 'verify your identity' setup code that I wouldn't be able to receive, but as long as I can call out, I'm happy until the whole process is complete.

Thank you!
