I am with Public Mobile and I am unable to connect to the Comwave number from my cell to make a long distance call anymore. Comwave didn't find any issue with them and suggested to check with Public Mobile.

I'm not too familiar with Comwave, but a quick search says its a Rogers wifi service...is that correct ? So you're trying to call Comwave or ???

Yes, I used to access Comwave from my cell and make long distance calls for years (while my cell is with Public Mobile). By accessing the Comwave number from my cell I get a certain message now ("you've used up all the time on your account. Please order another card."), which Comwave are unaware of. They suggested me to check with Public Mobile as well.

with Public Mobile, you can make unlimited calls to Cdn number while you're in Canada. You should be able o call most any Cdn number. Can you place calls to others right now. If so, your issue isn't with Public Mobile...sounds like some sorta issue with Comwave actually.

BTW...where are you trying to call...which country ?

Are you trying to hotspot Comwave to your phone? Please note that PM doesn’t offer wifi calling.

Another option is to use VoIP app like TextNow or WhatsApp (if all parties have WhatsApp) to make calls or texting for free but these options are not wifi calling.
