any update here? Watches are becoming a common piece of tech. Would be great if public mobile had a plan to support LTE on them

Does Public mobile have the ability to add an additional data plan to an Esim and use it for a smart watch like a samsung gear LTE?

What would the proccess be of aquiring one? Can you just purchase an ESIM through the app and allocate a data plan to it? does public mobile allow to different data plans running at the same time under one account?

Thanks.

You will only be able to have cellular on your wearable when your phone is nearby.

If you wish to have cellular on your wearable when your phone isn’t present you will have to look to another provider.

At this point, no tier 3 provider is offering Apple Watch support even they have eSIM

So, if you need to have data in your Apple Watch , you need to check with Koodo or Telus
