Hello.

I am currently using a public mobile eSIM.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, and I want to change my mobile phone number to a number starting with 780.

How do I do that?

Also, there is a number change option in the app, but what if I select a number from another city in Alberta (Bonnyville) and use it?

I haven't changed my number in 25 years. So, with that being said, give it a try. I do know someone who got a different area code for Ontario once years ago.

https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/profile/update/phone-number
